Invitation to our online roundtable on the human side of AI

📍 Location and format: Online roundtable discussion, register here.

⏰ Date and time: Thursday 4 September 2025 at 14:00-15.30 German time (90 minutes)

The future of publishing is not just about technology. It is about people first.

The widescale adoption of AI tools and services has hugely accelerated in the last few years. Now becoming an everyday part of the publishing workflow, this throws up integrity, ethical and interoperability challenges, for researchers, institutions and publishers, and we want you to be part of the conversation.

We are bringing together researchers, authors, and innovators online for a roundtable on 4 September 2025 and asking:

How do we preserve the human voice in an AI-enhanced publishing world?

As a technology provider working closely with researchers, academic and research institutions and publishers, we often hear from our communities about concerns, developments, and opportunities happening in an AI-enhanced world. We aim to provide a platform for open discussion among diverse communities. Let’s start focusing on what really matters: research and the people behind it.
