Our Commitment
SciFlow is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continuously improving the user experience of SciFlow Publish and applying relevant accessibility standards.
SciFlow Publish is designed to support accessible scholarly publishing workflows and the creation of accessible publication outputs, including structured HTML, EPUB, and tagged PDF (PDF/UA).

SciFlow Publish aims to conform to:

- Revised Section 508 Standards (U.S.)
- EN 301 549 (EU accessibility requirements)
Based on internal evaluation, SciFlow Publish substantially conforms to WCAG 2.1 Level AA, with some areas under ongoing refinement.
Scope of This Statement
This statement applies to:
- The SciFlow Publish web application interface
- Publication outputs generated by SciFlow Publish
Accessibility of uploaded third-party content (for example Microsoft Word source files) depends on the structure and accessibility of the original content.

- Keyboard-accessible core workflows
- Programmatically defined page language
- Accessible form labels and error messages
- Visible keyboard focus indicators
- Support for 200% zoom without loss of functionality
- High-contrast user interface design
- Export to tagged PDF (PDF/UA), HTML, and EPUB formats
- Preservation of structural metadata during conversion where available
Known Limitations
While SciFlow Publish supports accessibility standards, some areas are under ongoing improvement:
- Certain advanced editing interactions may benefit from additional keyboard optimization.
- Some dynamic interface components may require further refinement for optimal screen reader interaction.
- Final accessibility of generated documents depends on user-provided structure and editorial decisions.
We are actively working to improve these areas.
